Health & Safety Policy

ShredPro Limited acknowledges and accepts its legal and moral responsibilities for securing the health, safety and wellbeing of its employees, subcontractors working on its behalf and others affected by the company’s activities. The company considers the risks to the general public and service users when assessing the appropriate level of control.

 It is the intent of the company to provide safe and healthy working conditions for all its employees and those that could be affected by its activities by:

• Providing and maintaining safe plant and equipment
• Providing safe systems of work
• Providing for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of all articles and substances
• Providing appropriate and sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision
• Providing a safe place of work and safe access and egress
• Providing a safe working environment and adequate welfare facilities

We will work closely with all stakeholders and external agencies to ensure that we comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all subsequent legislative measures and with other requirements related to our activities.

The company will discuss and exchange ideas relating to health & safety at work with employees and maintain adequate communications and action in matters affecting the occupational welfare of their employees.

All staff are aware of the processes operated within the company and are aware of their responsibilities to follow defined procedures and to report any deviation or anomalies. Staff are encouraged to provide input to the development and improvement of systems.

The company expects its employees and contractors to recognise that they have a duty to take reasonable precautions to avoid injury to themselves, their colleagues or the general public.

The Management of the company establish business objectives which support the implementation of this policy. These objectives are regularly reviewed and revised as necessary.
